An Opportunity To Serve Our Community

Hey Redemption Church Fam!

We have an exciting opportunity to partner with Mobile Storehouse Ministry to serve our community on Saturday, October 24th.

Mobile Storehouse Ministry shares the love of God by distributing gently used household items, clothing, children’s toys and books to communities.

Here are two ways you can help:

#1. Serve at the event on October 24th.

The Mobile Storehouse will be at General Mills park (weather permitting) on Saturday, October 24th from 9AM - 3:30PM. We are looking for people to serve at the event on Saturday. If you are willing to come early, we cold use some help setting up at 8:00AM. This would be a great opportunity to show people the love of God by blessing them, while also having conversations with people about Jesus!

#2. Donate items to giveaway.

Here is a list of items that are needed for the giveaway. Most of them can be at Aldi or the Dollar Store.

Hygiene products: Deodorant, soap, shampoo/conditioner, hand sanitizer, Toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs/ brushes, lip balm, small individual kleenex pack, etc.

Can and dry food goods: Fruits, veggies, raviolis, spaghetti O's, soups, Vienna sausages, tuna, chili in a can, bake beans, ramen noodles (cups), ramen noodle pkgs. , Mac and Cheese (individual cups and family size) small dry cereal boxes, etc.

Clothing and blankets: We are also in need of good condition men/womans/children coats, hats, gloves, socks. We can use more used but good condition or new Throw/lap Blankets as well.

We are excited about this opportunity to partner with Mobile Storehouse Ministry and help love and serve the people of Belvidere, Il!
