Community Meal and Communion

In the New Testament, Communion was almost always part of a meal. Jesus served communion at the Last Supper, Paul gives us instructions for communion in the context of meal.  Many scholars and historians called this the Agape Meal, or Love Meal that was part of the rhythm and life of the early church.

On every first Sunday of the month, Redemption Church will meet on Sunday morning @10A for a potluck meal, worship, preaching, and communion.  There will be no Children's Ministry, as your children are invited to participate in the meal with you. This is a family gathering, kids are welcome, and will have some coloring sheets available for them!

Please bring a dish to share and join us for the Community Meal and Communion Worship Gathering.

If you are visiting for the first time, be our guest and enjoy the gathering.  Click here for an idea of what to expect on your first visit to Redemption Church.
